NILS
The No Interest Loan Scheme is operated through Global Care Dubbo. It is a microfinance service that has operated in Australia for over 30 years. It enables low income earners to access credit to purchase essential household items (e.g. refrigerator, washing machine, furniture, medical equipment etc). NILS is an alternative form of credit, not emergency relief. Loans are provided to people who are able to repay a loan without if causing financial pressure.
